Teahupoo didn't fully convince he stayed this trip at Saratoga last time and is taken on with CANDOMBLE, who was third over a route here latest and looks more certain to get the trip. River Griot and Clever Flight are others considered.

Hardshell is more than capable of making his presence felt at this level and has place claims, along with the thriving Alcanudance. For win purposes, however, preference is for the eased-in-grade EXLEY, who is a five-time winner at this venue.
