Verdict

ELUSIVE BLACK was not disgraced in his two starts. He returns from a break and a change of trainer but can score. IMOKELLY returns from a break and a change of trainers so should improve at this centre. BOMBER STREAM seems better than the last run would suggest and could play a minor role. ENDIZAYO is capable of improvement and is not out of it. SOMBREUIL showed improvement with blinkers and could have more to offer. Watch the betting on first-timer HOLLY'S KISS which represents the Alan Greeff-Richard Fourie combination.

Verdict

A small field but there are some talented runners. POP ROCK showed he has ability when a wide-margin winner of just his second start. He may well be up to beating these more experienced campaigners. ROMAN AGENT did win twice in the Western Cape and sets the standard for the race on known form. SPEED RACER is improving and was touched off on the Polytrack last week. Stable companions MASKED VIGILANTE and TRAVEL MASTER are usually close to the finish and can earn some more money. SOVEREIGNS CALL makes his local debut and is not out of it.

Verdict

LOTUS SILK was heavily backed to win on debut. She was not disgraced and with improvement likely she can go one better. TOUCH THE SWORD showed improvement in her second start and can contest the finish again. WHITE WATERS did not appear to like the Polytrack last time out and could be more of a threat back on the grass. GOLDEN CROC and MONEY GALORE are both knocking on the door and are capable of winning.

Verdict

A very competitive handicap. SILVERY SURFER has shown some promise and could like this course and distance. His trainer has returned to form with a bang recently. NEW MEXICO has won both local starts but will need to overcome a penalty. ONE SCOTCH was very brave in defeat last week and can go one better. IGUGULETHU is unreliable but is clearly not out of it. ARABIAN RED may be better on the Polytrack these days. PEDRO and MR BELVEDERE are both course and distance suited and capable of earning some money.

Verdict

BEER WITH THE BOYS did not show his best last time. He is long overdue another win and can be a threat this course and distance. OLIVE OYL is improving and should fight out the finish. BLACKBERRY BREEZE has run well over this distance and could be a threat. BACK FOR ME was a brave winner last time out and is not out of it. HENRY'S HEDGE has improved of late and has claims. RICHARDTHEFEARLESS impressed on the Polytrack last week and will need to prove himself back on the turf. FLASH LIGHTNING has been consistent of late and is another to include in exotics.

Verdict

Some improving and promising sprinters. PRISCILLA MAISEY has held her form on the Polytrack of late and could do even better back on the grass. SYMBOL OF LOVE is pacy and always a threat. INSTAWORTHY reminded us of her ability with an impressive win last time out and must be respected for that. KINGS AGAIN has been running in some good fields of late and is clearly not out of it. FARAWAY GIRL is improving and with a weight turnover she may turn the tables on rival BENEATH THE MOON. JAPANESE GARDEN and SILVAN MISTRESS are probably a lot better than what they showed last time out and could be dangers. PARTY GIRL won debut but flopped in her second start.
