We didn't learn much from HENRYVILLE's chase debut success at Fontwell (finished alone) but there was a lot to like about his narrow defeat behind subsequent Cheltenham Gold Cup fifth Irish Cavalier at Newton Abbot last time. He remains open to plenty of further improvement and could have enough in hand to see off Golden Doyen, who disappointed here latest but remains a gelding with lots of potential, and the first-time blinkered Port Melon.
