Pleasant Company made a favourable impression when landing an Ascot bumper at the start of November, and he wasn't disgraced on his hurdling bow behind subsequent Tolworth winner Royal Boy next time. David Pipe's charge boasts solid credentials, but COOL GEORGE's latest C&D second has worked out a treat, with the first and third winning again since, and he looks capable of opening his account over timber. Point-to-point winner Liberty One shaped promisingly on his Rules debut at Taunton and is respected, while Sun Wild Life is better than he showed last time and is worth another chance at this trip.
Pleasant Company can build on a promising third at Ascot and make it second time lucky over hurdles. Cool George may have to settle for another runner-up berth behind one of David Pipe's charges, while there's more to come from Liberty One.

The race rather fell apart for Loyaute at Kempton, and she looks harshly treated by a 10lb rise despite the second having won since, while Midnight Belle has looked to have little in hand of the assessor in recent starts. A Shade Of Bay remains unexposed and she looks feasibly treated on her handicap bow, but preference is for the highly regarded FLEMENTIME, who ought to prove better than her current mark suggests. Benefique Royale proved too keen at Ludlow earlier in the month but is respected dropped in trip.
Plenty of these have more to offer with the vote going to Flementime who was value for extra when scoring at Southwell. Miner Distraction and A Shade of Bay also go handicapping for the first time and are interesting, while Benefique Royale is also respected back in trip.

Wilton Milan has had jumping issues since tackling fences this term, although he was travelling well enough when coming to grief four out at Wincanton last time (a race won by the re-opposing Bertie Boru). He warrants respect with the tongue-tie fitted, but THE ITALIAN YOB made an excellent impression when scoring at Sandown on his penultimate start, and last month's Cheltenham effort is easily forgiven (broke a blood vessel). Nick Williams' charge is taken to return to winning ways ahead of Dare To Endeavour, who scored in fine style on his chasing debut at Huntingdon earlier in the month, and the admirable Saroque.
The Italian Yob was pulled up at Cheltenham in January, but it is quite possible he's a better horse going right handed, and with the step up to 3m likely to suit, he gets the nod to bounce back at a venue where he has gone well in the past. Saroque, Wilton Milan and Dare To Endeavour all have their best days over fences ahead of them and are fancied to fill the places, in that order.

Thomas Wild looked an exciting staying chaser last term and Philip Hobbs' charge is respected on his seasonal bow, while Royal Chatelier needs more to defy a 5lb rise after rather being gifted the race at Taunton last month. Shaking Hands has proved recalcitrant in recent starts, although he could fare better on deep ground this afternoon, but preference is for TUSKAR ROCK. Venetia Williams' charge arrives here fresher than most, and he ought to strip fitter for his latest C&D second, for which a 2lb ease in the handicap looks lenient.
Quite a few of these have a bit to prove and it might be worth chancing Billy Dutton, who is lightly-raced over fences and has slipped in the weights. Nodebateaboutit ran poorly last time but is the type to be sharpened up by cheekpieces, whilst the largely consistent Thomas Wild should run his race once more.
