Ofalltheginjoints ran with considerable promise when third on his chasing debut at Aintree last month and the six-year-old is entitled to come on from that outing, for which the handicapper put him up 4lb. Fiddlerontheroof probably needed his first run of the season when second at Ffos Las on his chasing debut in what appeared a warm contest on paper. However, the winner of that contest, If The Cap Fits, was turned over at short odds at Sandown over the weekend and he now faces a rival who boasts a huge amount of promise in SPORTING JOHN. The five-year-old looked to be the main threat to Envoi Allen in the Ballymore following a string of impressive performances but never appeared happy from an early stage at Cheltenham. He remains an exciting individual and returns to a course where he was unbeaten in two hurdle outings last season. Silver Hallmark can be forgiven his Tolworth Hurdle effort behind Fiddlerontheroof with the switch to fences in his favour.
