He will nevertheless be in the sights of the improving JOYEUX DU LANDRET (7) who has turned a corner since going without hind shoes. JACKPOT DE VIETTE (10) appears to be back at his best and is reunited with Alexandre Abrivard. He may still be rather green but JIPET DE CREPIN (2) has bags of ability and with stride in check will be no pushover.

A fine servant for the most part, IDYLLE DE MAHEY (7) prepped very well for this at Les Andelys and with pads fitted this time can have her way. She will still feel the heat from the reinvigorated ILISMO (4) who legitimately bids for the hat-trick. I LOVE YOU TEK (5) has had some ups and downs in his short career but he has been knocking at the door lately and deserves to have his day. IKELIOS (13) can be somewhat erratic but is in good shape and must be taken seriously.

This may be a small field but it is not short of contenders. Currently in form and always up for setting the pace, ICARE DE PHYT'S (1) is sure to generate considerable interest, and so is the talented IT'S MY DREAM (9) who put in quite the finish at Vincennes late May. Rarely far off the mark under harness, INVICTUS ORADEL (4) recently confirmed his aptitude for the monte code and must similarly be considered a leading contender. IMAIL DE CARSI (6) may not be the most dependable of trotters but he is confirmed in this category and with application will have his chances.
