HANOI JANE could be the one in receipt of the four-year-old allowance and with Shane O'Callaghan taking 7lb off her back. Everlastingpromise looked to be a chaser with a bright future after he won a Grade B handicap chase in Killarney last summer by 13 lengths. He's been off track since and returns here on top weight. He runs off a much lower hurdle mark compared to his chase rating, and ought to oblige if ready for this. There has to be a question mark given the absence, though. ITSALONGLONGROAD will appreciate this better ground. He won on his sole visit here in a beginners' chase on good ground last September. He is also bidding to exploit a lower hurdle mark. Sweet Sixteen and Top Line Tommy have chances.

Yeats mare NEWTOWN PERY could show up much better on this ground on handicap debut. She has shown snippets of form in two of her three maiden hurdles on rain-softened ground. Aine O'Connor claims 5lb from her and she has each-way claims in what isn't a strong race. She is a full sister to Feeling The Love who ran up a hat-trick of hurdle victories on good ground or faster. Arizona Flyer was very easy to back over a similar trip in Tramore but held on by the minimum margin. She has obvious claims with a 7lb claimer booked to offset the 6lb rise the handicapper gave her. The horse that finished six lengths behind him in fourth has since delivered in a handicap hurdle at Kelso to boost the form. Blinkers worked a treat on ORYX HUSTLER in Tramore and he should give this another good go. The five-year-old gelding landed a gamble from the front in Tramore. He was strong at the finish in that maiden hurdle and ought to appreciate this step up in trip for his chasing debut. Dedanann is a threat. A patient race was ridden on him in Wexford over an extended three miles and he delivered under Trevor Ryan who retains the ride. His stablemate, Nymphhall, came from a long way back to finish third in a beginners' chase at Limerick and could have apart to play. Arrycan faced a tough task on chasing debut at Limerick but finished third at 150/1. He can contend for more prize money.

ASK CORY can follow up on his course and distance victory last month. The assessor has handed this strong stayer a 7lb rise, however, Hugh Morgan negates most of it with his 5lb claim. Tom Gibney's stable has been among the winners and he could have another with ROBIN DE ROOST. His runner-up finish in Punchestown has been well endorsed as the horse behind him in third came out and won a Kilbeggan handicap chase by five lengths. Local trainer Brian Hamilton saddles Dynamic Allen who goes well here. Her two victories both came in Downpatrick including last month in a beginners' chase. Shane Fitzgerald takes a more than handy 7lb off her back. Doldido was beaten into second by Dynamic Allen here and comes back for more. This double hurdle winner is finding it harder to get his head in front over the bigger obstacles but can get in the hunt for a cheque. Just Another Lady has been in decent form over hurdles and makes her chasing debut in a competitive contest. Drummullagh Rocky is another to consider.

John McConnell's WINNING KATE has an each-way chance. McConnell saddled a newcomer to win a bumper at this racetrack in March and this Mahler mare is related to plenty of winners. Reverse Polarity has shown more than enough form in bumpers to get off the mark, but does have the absence since August last year to overcome. Biko has been off since finishing second in a maiden hurdle at Clonmel in February last year. He has since switched to Pat Martin and would be of interest if strong in the market. Similar sentiments apply to Shuil Sienna who makes the long trek north for her first start.
