The Charlie Swan-trained LACE YOUR BOOTS has been beaten under a length on his two latest starts over hurdles and it looks only a matter of time before he gets his head in front for the first time. Salford City, a top-class performer in his prime on the Flat, landed a fast ground maiden hurdle at Down Royal in June but his latest effort at Wexford suggests he's certainly not one for maximum faith today. Keelaghan is well worth a second look on his hurdling bow but he'll need to be pretty smart to get the better of MR MUFFIN MAN, who scored with any amount up his sleeve over this C&D last month.

This slight step up in trip shouldn't prove a problem and he looks up to landing a race that shouldn't take a great deal of winning. LEADING DIAMONDS displayed plenty of promise on debut when finishing second in a maiden hurdle here back in May and looks the one to beat in this. He drops to bumper company over this shorter trip today with connections clearly aiming to get his head in front before returning to hurdles. Rossgavand could prove the main danger if building on two solid recent efforts, most notably when finishing second at Tipperary on her penultimate start, while newcomer Le Perk is another to consider.
