VAN GOGH clearly sets the standard having only found one too good in the Group 2 Juvenile Stakes at Leopardstown earlier in the month and that was not his first good effort in Group company. Aidan O'Brien's colt has to be given the utmost respect now that he has his sights lowered. Colour Sergeant is a consistent performer and he should be in the mix once again. National Ballet is out of a full-sister to the Group 1 winner Maybe, who is the dam of Saxon Warrior (also by Deep Impact), and he should not be underestimated despite his lack of race experience. Others to consider are Rince Beo and Wisteria Girl.
