LUGHNASA made a most promising debut over hurdles when chasing home Midnight Oil at Cork last month and entitled to be more streetwise now, her claims would appear rock solid. Sarabad is clearly talented but he continues to prove frustrating to follow and his recent Fairyhouse second again saw him disappoint favourite backers. Lisbon ran well enough to finish fourth at Ayr recently and rates best of the rest.

A tightly-knit chase in which nothing can be ruled out with much confidence but CALL THE POLICE makes most appeal. PAGE TURNER was collared close home by Moon Dice on his chasing debut at Cork in October but it was a tremendous effort in defeat and the experience is likely to have done him the world of good. His fitness has to be taken on trust given he's been off the track since, but the yard has enjoyed a winner recently so that shouldn't be much of an issue. Willie Mullins' 10-year-old Cadspeed has had plenty of chances over fences now and was beaten at odds-on last time, but the drop back to a bare 2m could help him out. Savello was far from disgraced at Thurles on his penultimate start but didn't perform up to the same level when well beaten here last time.

FERMOYLE FLYER looks a very interesting recruit for Noel Meade and he's fancied to make a winning start in the hunter chase sphere. After showing promise in three hurdle starts for Nigel Twiston-Davies, the son of Presenting stayed on well to win a 3m point-to-point in December and he looks worth chancing on his first outing over park fences this afternoon. Thetalkinsover is race-fit from a spell between the flags but the main threat is likely to be posed by Final Gift, a former Paul Nicholls inmate who has a similar profile to the selection and he was successful in a point last month.
