It could pay to side with FLASH CITY in the opener. His two efforts earlier in the year were most encouraging and it's interesting that cheekpieces replace the visor which has been used recently. Mayoman looks an obvious danger on the back of his workmanlike victory at Haydock eight days ago, while Tamareen would have every chance if recapturing the sort of form which saw him finish runner-up over a slightly longer trip here last month.
Few of these can be discounted, but it's worth sticking with Mayoman now he's hit form. Red Roar can continue her solid run from the inside draw, while an improved effort from Legal Eagle would be no surprise.

William Haggas trained the winner of this race last year and he appears to have another cracking chance with MABAANY today. This offspring of Exceed And Excel made a bright start to his racing career when third in a hot maiden over 6f at Ascot in July and any improvement will make him hard to beat. Zammy and Chelsea Mick both appear to be heading the right way and look set to scrap it out for minor honours.
Mabaany ran very well on his debut in July and can go one better this time. Chelsea Mick is the obvious danger.

Dr Marwan Koukash's Weapon Of Choice warrants respect having won two of his last three starts, while One Scoop Or Two has leading claims after a comfortable victory at Haydock recently. The vote, however, goes to VENUTIUS. Ed McMahon's charge ran right up to his best when runner-up in a competitive heat over 1m at Haydock five weeks ago and dropping back in trip should help this front-runner.
A change of tactics didn't stop Weapon of Choice from posting another success at Epsom last time and he can strike again. Venutius, Everymanforhimself and Chosen Character are others to note.

Berling is sure to arrive here full of confidence after a couple of victories last month and commands respect despite top-weight, but PRINCE BISHOP edges the vote. A Group 2 winner in France for Andre Fabre, he finished down the field at Windsor two weeks ago but is entitled to come on for that run and the application of a visor could help this classy performer bounce back to form. The other Godolphin runner, Debussy, cannot be overlooked.
Berling has his quirks but he's always had bundles of ability and can complete his hat-trick in a race in which most have something to prove. Prince Bishop will be sharper for his British debut and could emerge as the main threat in a first-time visor.

PLACE IN MY HEART stepped up on a pleasing introduction when scoring impressively over slightly shorter at Yarmouth 18 days ago and, with improvement on the cards, she could follow up on her nursery debut. Amadeus Denton couldn't have done the job any easier at Musselburgh last time and rates a big threat, while Mahkama shaped as though a drop in trip would suit when runner-up over 6f at Goodwood latest.
Place In My Heart looked one to keep on the right side when running away with a Yarmouth maiden last time and can follow up at the main expense of Mahkama and Kimbali.

Focail Eile would have to be respected if turned out following his engagement at Sandown yesterday but at this stage, preference is for TED'S BROTHER.
