Karakoram appeared to relish the step up to 3m when successful at Taunton last week, and he won this race 12 months ago so shouldn't be underestimated under a 7lb penalty. That said, preference is for BIG BLUE MOON, who made an immediate impact when switched to handicaps, going in at Carlisle on Sunday. Cameron Iles' claim negates the penalty incurred for that victory and he should have more to offer. Tuesday's Plumpton winner Brown Bullet is another to consider.

Former point-to-pointer Queen Annie is a half-sister to Listed bumper winner Bonttay and should be lot wiser after she posted a respectable fourth on debut at Uttoxeter.
