Hidden Identity arrives in good nick having regained the winning thread in impressive fashion at Carlisle in February, but while this better ground may just squeeze out some more improvement, she's likely to find MA FILLEULE too good on the day. Nicky Henderson's 134-rated hurdler is forced to concede weight all round, but she landed a Grade 2 contest at Warwick before finishing in midfield in the Martin Pipe at the Festival last month and connections appear to have found her an ideal opportunity as she bids to bow out on a high. Queens Grove can also make the frame.

Violin Davis hasn't been penalised for scoring off the same mark at Taunton a fortnight ago and Harry Fry's charge sets a very good standard at the summit of the weights. TARA ROSE got within a length and a quarter of that rival when in receipt of 3lb in a novices' event at Bangor, however, and she reopposes in receipt of 14lb today. Nigel Twiston-Davies' charge regained some confidence when an easy winner at the Welsh track on her most recent start and she looks the one to be on, while the hat-trick-seeking Marie Des Anges can also make the frame.

Cruchain won this event in 2011 and 2012 but is unlikely to complete the hat-trick.

The likeable son of Old Vic, who impressively notched up a sequence over hurdles last term, left his chase debut performance well behind when bolting up over this trip at Wincanton last week and any further improvement can help him defy a 5lb penalty today.
