MANGER HANAGMENT chases a six-timer following two chase and three hurdle successes. The Irish-trained gelding is up slightly in class but has looked untroubled in winning and is difficult to oppose here. Catcherinscratcher, another Irish raider, landed a double in the summer but was well held when stepped up to this grade at Killarney and has more to find, while yet another Irish challenger, Ongenstown Lad, has won three of his last five starts but this requires more.
This is undoubtedly Manger Hanagment's toughest assignment yet, but the stiffer test will be firmly in his favour, so his winning spree may not be done with yet. Ongenstown Lad and Round Tom are just 2 potential dangers.

Edgbriar won this last year off a 1lb lower mark but has rarely threatened to follow up since. Gilbarry was a top novice chaser last season, landing a Grade 2 chase at Ayr, but has plenty of weight now. Buck Mulligan has turned in a string of good efforts and should be thereabouts but may need some help from the handicapper and is passed over in favour of BENBANE HEAD, winner of two chases this year. He's up 10lb in the ratings and in class but has only raced three times over the bigger obstacles and there should be more to come.
Benbane Head looked a horse to follow when winning with something in hand at Uttoxeter last month and is likely to go well, but preference is for Edgbriar, who was bang up to speed when making a winning reappearance in this race last year. Calgary Bay could also play a part if tuned up for his reappearance.

PALAWI enjoyed a fine season last term, landing a double at the start of this year before a fine effort in a Grade 1 at Aintree ended with a fall two out when still right there. If that fall hasn't dented his confidence, he should be up to scoring here, especially after a recent Flat run should have sharpened him nicely. Plan A is on a hat-trick after two wins last month and the Irish raider should go well, although he's up in class now. French import Tonic Mellysse was an easy winner at Ayr latest and has claims.
French import Tonic Mellysse is open to plenty of improvement and is an interesting contender, but he won't find it easy to concede weight to Plan A and Palawi, who have both progressed well over hurdles, the former showing his effectiveness around here when fourth in the Fred Winter in March.

BENNY BE GOOD is chasing a four-timer today and is difficult to oppose. He's up 7lb in the ratings for his two-length success at Market Rasen last month but that was in Listed company and he was running for the first time since April. With that run under his belt and in a lower grade today, he should take all the beating. Galaxy Rock is a progressive chaser who has something to find with the selection on form to date but is still improving and shouldn't be ruled out. The Irish raider Chicago Grey is not without a chance.
An open-looking handicap. Benny Be Good, Definite Dawn and Ethiopia all arrive here at the top of their game, but Balthazar King returns on a very fair mark and gets the nod given his record fresh.

The vote here goes to TOUBAB, making his chasing debut. A Listed winner over hurdles and placed at the highest level in that sphere, he represents one of the most powerful NH jockey-trainer partnerships and is sure to be well prepared for his first outing over the bigger obstacles. Zaynar also makes his chasing debut but although he landed the Grade 1 Triumph Hurdle at the 2009 Festival, he's looked out of sorts this year. Lancetto scored at Newton Abbot last month first time over fences and that experience should stand him in good stead in this tougher contest.

Hard to rule any of these out but slight preference is for QUEENS BAY, a progressive sort who broke her duck third time out when scoring over 1m6f at Ffos Las. This is tougher but she looked to have plenty in hand that day. The main threat could come from a couple of Irish raiders - Clondaw Warrior, on a hat-trick, and Alexandr Nevsky, successful at Fairyhouse - but chances could also be given to Amber Cloud, a cosy winner at Ffos Las, and Woodacre, well beaten but far from disgraced when second on debut at Market Rasen.
