GLAMOROUS ANGEL left his debut performance well behind when runner-up over slightly shorter at Carlisle 17 days ago and, with further improvement on the cards, he could make it third time lucky. Findhornbay was only 1 1/4-lengths behind the selection that day (finishing third) and should give another good account but Indego Blues, who stepped up on his C&D third when collecting the bronze medal at Carlisle latest, rates the biggest threat.
Glamorous Angel could have fared better with the draw but still looks the one to be with after shaping promisingly at Carlisle last time. Indego Blues will be suited by the return to a sharp 6f and may provide the stiffest resistance.

AL FURAT stepped up on a couple of solid placed efforts when scoring impressively over an extended 1m6f at Redcar last time and, despite a 9lb hike in the handicap, he will be fancied to follow up. Brook Star gamely opened her account at Redcar three weeks ago and warrants respect rated just 1lb higher now, while Shirls Son Sam has improved markedly for stepping up in trip recently and cannot be ruled out.
Al Furat and Brook Star both benefited from being stepped up to this sort of trip at Redcar last time, the former preferred under conditions forecast to be similar to those he faced then. Shirls Son Sam's improved effort last time also entitles him to respect.

Sir Mark Prescott brings just one horse, REPEATER, on the near 400-mile round trip from his stable in Newmarket here today and that looks a tip in itself. This son of Montjeu improved in each of his three maiden starts and nothing went right when seventh in a much better race over 1m at Doncaster last week. Fayr Fall has been knocking on the door recently and should go close again while nursery debutants Thewinningmachine and Rusty Rocket make up the shortlist.
Sir Mark Prescott's team is in terrific form and Repeater looks well worth another chance after pulling too hard at Doncaster last weekend. Fayr Fall has done little wrong of late and enters the reckoning, while Thewinningmachine could well do better now upped in trip and sent handicapping.

Hidden Glory has never been so low in the weights and could pop up at decent odds if back on his game. Ailsa Craig has never been this far, but if getting the trip should also be on the premises, while last year's winner Arizona John is now 5 lb lower and if freshened up by a short break is another possibility in a wide-open affair.

WATTS UP SON has improved dramatically for the application of blinkers recently and could deliver the goods here. Although recording just two wins in 26 starts, she has been running consistently well of late and seems sure to give another good account under Kelly Harrison, who was on board for her opening success in July last year.
