A really competitive amateur riders' handicap with the likes of Michael Bell raiding from the south and he can return the prize to Newmarket courtesy of HYPERLINK. The Cape Cross gelding was far from disgraced on his return to the level at Windsor last time and the better forecast ground here should suit. Dark Dune and Call Of Duty are also nicely treated but recent Haydock scorer Royal Sea looks the main threat after being put up an acceptable 4lb for that success.

A difficult race to assess in which a tentative vote goes to Keep It Cool who has suggested his turn may not be far away. Dark Dune was better than the bare result the last twice and ought to give the selection plenty to think about.

The Winker Watson filly has been far from disgraced in three subsequent outings, looking to find the mile just beyond her last time when a still fair fourth in the Windsor nursery won by Floating Ballerino. James Tate is enjoying a splendid season with juveniles (strike rate of over 25%) and Blockade must be taken seriously but this is the longest trip he has encountered yet as he seeks to concede weight all round. Money Team looks harshly treated for an admittedly facile success in a claimer here last time whilst Overstep is hard to assess having followed a runaway Hamilton success with a contrastingly dreadful effort at Newmarket. He's dangerous dropped in grade but the solid Beverley victory of LOCAL FLIER was franked by runner-up, Omaha Gold, this week and he can follow-up off an attractive mark.

This should rest between promising sorts who both revealed potential in Windsor maidens last time. Preference is for OMNIPRESENT who seemed ill at ease late on having looked likely to score at the Berkshire track on his second career start. Sir Michael Stoute, obviously keen to get a win into the Juddmonte-bred Rail Link colt, is 2-7 here over the last five years and his charge has been afforded a break since that seasonal reappearance. His form looks stronger than the debut second of Commissioned although the Authorized gelding looks the prime danger with Saffron Town the obvious each-way call.

A pretty typical Catterick sprint in which the need to adopt a strong early position is likely to be paramount. Christopher Wilson confuses matters slightly by fielding Ingenti (won at Beverley yesterday) and Niceonemyson who have both been handed decent draws in stalls five and six. It's hard to split the pair, while Wicked Wilma and PRIGSNOV DANCER are also nicely berthed from the foot of the handicap. The latter was only just foiled here last time under a rather daring ride from his young rider and the combination represent a value option to go one better. Boucher Garcon is an interesting outsider.

Watch out for: Ingenti (1)

Rutterkin is interesting on second start for current yard, whilst refitted headgear may help get Windforpower back on track, but Prigsnov Dancer was an unlucky loser over C&D 10 days ago, and is worth backing to go one better.
