JALENZA DU BOCAGE (15) has been knocking hard at the door and deserves to get back in the winner's enclosure. She surely is one to keep an eye on. JENUFA (11) finished first and second in two previous runs at this course and is another sound podium contender. JIVA (14) blew her chances at the start at Le Mont Saint-Michel and is on a redemption mission here.

JAB DE MYE (6) shaped up nicely at Vincennes last time out for this and looks to have every chance if she gets a clear run. That said, anything can happen with a large sixteen runners field and it could be safe to keep JETPACK (4) high on the shortlist after an excellent last start effort on turf in Brittany. JANE AIMEE (10) always gives everything she has in either code and enters calculations, as does JAPPELOUP TURGOT (13) who runs barefoot this time and is sure to find a few lengths improvement. JALDO D'OCQUE (5) has run well in both previous attempts at this course and could spring a surprise.

Versatile LADY DE GREZ (8) showed her form and well-being with a good 4th in the harness category last month. She is equally effective under the saddle so gets the nod in a small but competitive field. Enigmatic LOU DES COUPERIES (9), provided she avoids disqualification, and LOUPIOT DE CHENU (7), lightened in his shoeing configuration, will likely challenge for race honours. Barefoot for the first time, L'APPASSIONATO (4) is open to improvement so could play a leading role.

MAGIC TOUR (6) was an emphatic winner of just his second start at Le Mont-Saint-Michel and, with further improvement expected, it should pay to follow his progress. Talented MAHATMA DANICA (13), returning from a break after his faux pas at Enghien in March, and MAMBO DE CAHOT (5), who is due a victory after back-to-back seconds, lead the opposition ahead of MIYAJIMA VET (10) who would've benefitted from an encouraging return. MICHIKO (11) is reunited with with David Thomain, with whom she signed her only victory, so also deserves a mention.
