Last start eased back early on 6th of 10 at Hanging Rock Bm52 on January 26 over 1800m, 9 len behind Sandblast with 60kg at $12. Before that 7th of 10 at Kilmore 0 - 58 on January 14 over 1600m, 5.5 len behind Limbering carrying 57.5kg at $4.50. Prefer in something much easier.
INTREPID EAGLE (2) was a nice debut winner two starts ago before not having much luck last start when not beaten far. He's started favourite on both trips to the races and maps to get a great run in transit behind the speed from a better draw. He looks well placed to return to winning ways. FAST STAR (8) looks ready to win third up having stuck to his task well in town last start when ridden closer. He may be better suited back around a bend and looms as a danger. LADY SHALAA (10) was a narrow Maiden winner last start with a good gap to third. She appeals each way getting onto the bigger track. TOP HONOURS (5) doesn't win out of turn but his best would be good enough stripping fitter third up. KING OF THE WORLD (1) first up was an impressive winner on debut and warrants plenty of respect onto firmer footing for the first time.
