It's hard to see past the unbeaten LUCCIA, as she was an impressive winner last time in a race that has had three winners come out of it. She can take this before moving onto better things. Ramses De Teillee has bounced back to form this season with a vengeance having won impressively at Warwick before filling the runner-up spot in the Veterans' Final at Sandown last month. Although he is respected once again, the prospects of a drier surface may prove to be his undoing. Run To Milan was one place behind David Pipe's grey last time and could reverse that form, having won this contest 12 months ago, but the vote goes to SENIOR CITIZEN. The 10-year-old appeared to have lost his way earlier in the season before the addition of cheekpieces and the step up in trip saw him return to form at Doncaster. Banteer will no doubt prove popular with his trainer Paul Nicholls enjoying another fine season with his bumper runners and the son of Westerner boasts strong credentials. Mr Hope Street and Love Bite, a half-sister to top-class chaser Might Bite, represent leading connections and have to be respected, but NAVAJO INDY makes plenty of appeal. The only four-year-old in the field, he is a full-brother to Navajo Pass, who was a useful performer on the Flat before being sent hurdling, and it would be no surprise if the gelding possessed too much speed for his more stoutly-bred rivals.
