Hard Luck Story was runner-up to the potentially useful Montaff at Newcastle and is proven on bottomless ground so he is the main danger. Brandane recorded his first success at Kempton last time over a mile and whilst he did not achieve too much he is open to further progress. Defi has dropped to an attractive mark if he could produce his best form but he has been disappointing this season.
