Rebel Magic looks harshly treated on achievements to date and takes a major step up in trip. She remains of considerable interest but stable companion CIO CIO SAN is preferred. She's shown a decent level of form on all three starts and can reverse placings with Redressthebalance on their Bath running after staying on steadily in the sixth furlong. This 7f should prove right up her street and she appears attractively treated. Bountybeamadam and Poetic Princess merit shortlist inclusion while we may have yet to see the best of Mrs Warren for a yard whose juveniles are running notably well.
Rebel Magic is still open to improvement and ought to make a bold bid despite the steadier of top weight. We Are City is a potential improver now tackling nurseries and can go well, while the once-raced Redressthebalance looks another to consider.

He's on a roll with three wins from his last four runs and Darren Egan's claim strengthens chances further. He handles this quick ground well and can make the most of a near two stone receipt in weight from Fiery Lad. Luca Cumani's charge came with a rare rattle to land a competitive Epsom handicap latest and a 4lb rise looks acceptable. John Louis is another in tremendous form but takes a further rise in grade off an increased mark.
Scatter Dice is an improving 3-y-o and she can maintain her upward curve at the main expense of Address Unknown and Fiery Lad.

Highly competitive with many in with chances and DESERT LAW is taken to get a rather unsatisfactory season back on track. He's been surprisingly out the back on two of his three starts this term, admittedly in high-class handicaps, but he's better than that, as evinced by an excellent second to Stone Of Folca in the Investec Dash at Epsom in a 22-runner field in June. Maybe Richard Hughes can finesse him back to his best here. Taajub is in great heart at present and scored over C&D last Sunday, while Bosun Breeze and Hazelrigg are strong northern raiders demanding serious consideration.
Barnet Fair was a big eyecatcher here last week, running a very solid race despite having run loose beforehand. He is clearly up to winning off this mark if proving more tractable in the preliminaries. Desert Law and Waffle might prove best of the rest.

No surprise if the classiest race on the card produces another juvenile success for the Hannon and Hughes team courtesy of MAUREEN. She went to the Cherry Hinton as the supposed stable second string but her powerful late challenge only failed by a quarter of a length to overhaul Sendmylovetorose. She didn't get the clearest of runs either and was arguably unfortunate. Hoyam wasn't hard pressed to land the odds at Windsor after an excellent second in the Queen Mary at the Royal meeting and looks the main danger, with Sandreamer also respected.
Maureen looked most unlucky at Newmarket and compensation awaits. Hoyam is another proven pattern-race performer who needs consideration, while beaten Queen Mary favourite Mironica deserves another chance.

This looks difficult and low-key staking is advised. DIALA, thought good enough to go straight for the 1000 Guineas by a trainer who doesn't tilt at windmills, was a disappointing favourite at Warwick last time when turned over in Listed grade. Not too many can be considered in the best of form but GAUL WOOD is a notable exception. Tom Dascombe has his string in rampant form at present and this son of Amadeus Wolf put up a really good show when thrust into handicap company last time after only landing a modest Lingfield maiden. He went down in a driving finish to the more experienced Our Boy Jack at Chester and can gain compensation here off a 4lb higher mark. Mingun Bell is respected now he's rediscovered his form, with Corporal Maddox and Good Authority also meriting consideration.
Corporal Maddox and Mingun Bell both have claims but Gaul Wood is the most interesting runner in the field by some distance and he can make amends for an unlucky defeat on his handicap debut.
