Dream Tune and Subtle Knife can both make their presence felt and Goldream is highly respected but in a wide open handicap a tentative verdict goes to MUARRAB. A 4lb rise for his 7f Newbury success last month looks fair and there could still be a little more improvement to come from him.

He was narrowly denied by Sir Graham Wade over 1m6f at Haydock last month and the drop to 1m4f will suit so he could take some stopping. Royal Peculiar is returning from a break but he is accorded the utmost respect along with Silver Lime. The application of blinkers could help Martin Chuzzlewit and he should not be overlooked either.

Salford Art has the highest official rating in the line-up and she must be respected but this can go the way of SIR GRAHAM WADE. He showed guts in abundance to win competitive handicaps at Haydock and Doncaster last month and he is well worth a crack at this level. The progressive Biographer is also interesting and Cavaleiro makes plenty of appeal, having returned to form with a decent second at Newbury last month.

Sir Graham Wade is thriving at the moment and makes plenty of appeal but narrow preference is for Biographer, who's only had 5 outings in his career and showed he's still firmly on the upgrade when runner-up in the Melrose at York. The unexposed Signed Up is a potential fly in the ointment.

ARDLUI had to settle for second best behind Countrywide Flame over 2m at Chester last time but a reproduction of that effort would give a big chance here despite a 3lb rise. Hawkeshead went down narrowly over 1m6f at Haydock last time and the step up to this trip should suit so he can go well along with Itlaaq, who was third to Sir Graham Wade at Haydock last time. Red Orator is another likely candidate.

Watch out for: Itlaaq (1)

Red Orator is unexposed over staying distances and has the attitude to win more races. He gets the nod, though Hawkeshead is similarly unexposed and rates a danger, as does Ocean's Minstrel.
