This looks a great opportunity for EMPRESSINA to get off the mark with Roger Attfield's filly producing her best effort yet when runner-up over this track and trip last time. Ridgewood Grusha and Daruma's Dream are most feared.
TONIGHT WE DANCE made a promising start to her racing career when runner-up over 7f here earlier in the month and, likely to improve for this step up in distance, she could go one better. Smartyfly and Diamondesque also have claims.
MISS LAYLA ran out a comfortable winner over slightly shorter here latest and she could take some stopping if in the same mood tonight. Dulce Esparenza and Niigon's Princess look to be her biggest dangers.
MISCHEVIOUS MIA has shown enough promise in her two runs to date to suggest she can play a leading role in a contest of this nature. She gets the verdict over Slamin' Dixie and Tracey's Smile.
Portomaso drops in grade and he is respected along with Opus Pro. However, the verdict goes the way of WALTZ MARTY WALTZ. A reproduction of his second over this C&D last time would probably be good enough.
The hat-trick seeking Ticket Time looks sure to go well but WISE TRICK comes into this in good heart and she gets a tentative vote. Erma Lee is worth including in combination bets.
DR. HARKNESS was touched off by just a head over the extended 6f here latest but is taken to strike now dropping back to this shorter trip. Last-time-out course winner Dancing With Frank and Sir Lowry's Pass complete the shortlist.
SOMETHING EXTRA has bagged two 7f victories here the last twice but travels strongly enough to think this slight drop in trip won't hinder. Court Of The Realm, who is also back in distance, has place claims along with Bear No Joke.
KARIDA impressed when winning over course and distance earlier in the month and is taken to land a quick double while his well-being is assured. Casablanca Kiss and Sibonet can battle it out for the minor placings.
ROCKY ROMANO stayed on strongly to score over track and trip earlier in the month and a reproduction of that effort at this level would probably suffice again. Samurai Slam and Special Selection are feared most.
