TEX got the hang of things late on when returning to dirt last time, and if he is able to build on that and reproduce some of the form he has exhibited on turf before, he will be tough to stop. Steel Dust Dancer takes a big drop in grade and deserves respect, while Ryder Kay deserves his chance in more valuable company after winning last time.
BEST PLAY appeared to struggle when kept handy over an extended trip last time and dropping in yardage here, he is fancied to fare better. There was little to split Magic Stripe and Malbec when they finished second and third respectively last time, and both should be on the premises again.
BUMP BUMP made an impressive debut when second here last month and with more expected second time out, she gets the nod. Plenty Of Honour and Liberty Hall have been banging on the door and their turn can't be far off.
SERIOUS INDEED was far from disgraced in a higher grade last time and should take all the beating returned to this level. Pit Alley is a creditable performer who warrants respect, while Sir Mcintyre's latest effort suggested his turn isn't far away.
A weak affair so the relatively unexposed WIN MY WAY, who shaped well last time, is given the nod. Bold Cailin has been knocking on the door in similar company of late and won't be far away. Westshore Road is also considered.
Eastern Atlantic failed to see out the trip over further last time and is worth considering now dropping back in distance, though preference is for hat-trick-seeker GRACE PHIL, who brings stronger recent form to the table. Sweet Starlet also has claims if putting her best foot forward.
CROWNS DYNASTY scored by over seven lengths over track and trip when last sighted and his subsequent rise in grade is therefore warranted. In his present mood, he may be capable of landing a double, though big runs from Officeinthevalley and Bet On Jack would also come as no surprise.
FIGHTING CHRIS finished a length second in a similar allowance event over 7f here last month and should appreciate the drop in distance. Orbit Express and Sparrowhawk can also make the frame.
YOSHI MORI may represent some value in this allowance contest and she got the better of X Squared when a head second in similar company last time. Others to note include Be Mind Phil and Bears Grace.
BLONDE BREEZE takes a notable drop in class for this beaten claimer finale and she's expected to dictate, having won over further in the past. Missy Bear and Flaring Star are also noted.
