TROJAN ROCKET's C&D success in November is the only recent winning form on offer here and, as he is just 4lb higher and has maintained a solid level of consistency since, he is taken to make up the ground on Downhill Skier, who was two places ahead when third most recently but is less likely to enjoy this extra furlong. In contrast, Loves Theme drops back in distance and is worth a thought following a break of more than two months.
Despite performing with credit of late Downhill Skier can now race off 1 lb lower than his latest winning mark, and the way he finished over 6f here last time suggests he is about to take advantage. Anjomarba and Trojan Rocket are both capable of better than they showed last time and can follow him home.

GEORGEBERNARDSHAW lost his way during the last turf season but his most recent foray on to the all-weather came in the Lincoln Trial here less than a year ago and he has blinkers on now for this considerable drop in grade. Unlimited saves his best for this venue but he isn't getting any younger so bigger threats come in the shape of Autumn Blades, Faithful Ruler and Lady Elsie, whose only previous crack at a selling prize resulted in a narrow defeat at Goodwood.
A number of these with questions to answer, either with regards to stamina or current form, but a chance is taken with Georgebernardshaw in the hope that first-time blinkers can spark a revival. Autumn Blades and Unlimited are others to consider.

Mataajir is unbeaten since tackling handicap company and completed a quickfire hat-trick with ease at Southwell. His penalty shouldn't inconvenience him too much but he comes up against an unexposed Irish raider in TARA FAY. Gordon Elliott has taken over the training of the mare from Gerard O'Leary and it wouldn't be the biggest surprise if she left all known form behind, with Spencer booked. Idol Deputy is holding his form really well but the assessor is beginning to take notice.
Tara Fay is the potential blot on the handicap and a market move on her debut for a new yard would be significant, but both Mataajir and Idol Deputy are in fine form and could fight it out, the former taken to get a 4-timer up.

Since she was last seen in this sphere, ARISEA has been an excellent moneyspinner over obstacles and her NH mark has risen to 112. With that in mind, she should be able to score off 50 here, but if 1m4f isn't enough of a test for her, the most likely beneficiary is Hathaway, given that she did all her best work at the finish of an extended 1m1f here to fill the runner-up berth. John McConnell is always worth a second glance on his ventures across the Irish Sea and his Golden Flight hinted at improvement at Dundalk most recently.
Hathaway stands as good a chance as any if her stamina holds up after a solid back-to-form second here over shorter recently. A couple of others to consider in a trappy affair are Golden Flight and Near Germany, the latter eased in the weights ahead of this return to the Flat and still leading when a final-flight faller over hurdles last time.

Tom Eaves take the reins now, which is certainly not a negative, but his mount may be undone by a 5lb hike and is passed over in favour of DANCING WELCOME. Milton Bradley's mare held her form really well last summer, but she is more effective on an artificial surface and is fresher than Chester Deelyte. Perfect Art was beaten in selling company latest but has slipped to a favourable mark now.
Chester Deelyte comes here in fine form and appeals as the most likely winner. Dancing Welcome has claims if freshened up by her recent break, whilst a more prominent showing from Wishbone would not surprise.

Henry Clay was an expensive failure when hitting the crossbar for the second time at Lingfield. While he has an edge in fitness, his potential would appear pretty limited, whereas ANGEL GABRIAL didn't enjoy a great deal of luck when a close-up fifth at Gowran Park, and Dr Marwan Koukash has now switched this Derby entry to the care of Ian Williams. There are plenty of winners in Dubawi Cheetah's pedigree and her stable has been in excellent form of late.

Complex broke through in a moderate claimer over course and distance, while Cat Queen shed her maiden tag at Southwell. Both have beaten in handicap company off lower marks, however, so this can go to one of the less exposed contenders. Siouxsies Dream has offered only a glimmer of promise in claimers, and GABRIAL'S KING has shown little more in three maidens, but the latter is in the right hands to progress now he steps into handicaps and is bred to relish this longer trip.
Gabrial's King went into plenty of notebooks with an eye-catching final flourish in a 7f maiden here last time. All now points to a first success on his handicap debut, possibly at the main expense of Ferdy.
