BUCKHORN GEORGE lacked the pace to trouble the winner when landing the silver medal over an extended 2m2f at Exeter last time but this longer trip is expected to suit him and he could feasibly return to winning ways back at the venue at which he broke his duck. Global Fame soundly beaten in fifth at Chepstow yesterday on his second run following wind surgery but has claims on his third at Carlisle the time before. He could battle it out with Brinkley, who is entitled to come on for his reappearance outing when pulling up at Exeter, for the minor money.

PREMIUMACCESS thrived following wind surgery when making a successful switch to fences last month and could have plenty more to come here. An 8lb rise makes life tougher, but the point-to-point winner devoured the larger obstacles with a professional round of jumping in that Huntingdon win and pulled out all the stops when pressed at the business end. Lamanver Bel Ami made it back-to-back victories on chasing debut last time and has to be respected, while Wagner, Crealion and Mister Murchan could all figure.

ROSIE AND MILLIE has performed with real credit in her outings so far this season and has a chance of getting on the scoresheet here off the same rating as when third at Musselburgh on New Year's Day. Chasing appears to be on hold for now with Mack The Man, who represents a team enjoying a fine campaign. He was highly progressive over hurdles last term and a switch to timber could revive his fortunes. Kloud Gate has severely disappointed of late, but is now rated 2lb lower than his last victory, while River Bray was a course-and-distance winner on his penultimate start and a mistake three out put paid to any chance of following up when seen in a competitive heat at Kempton over Christmas.

CYCLOP has been in excellent form since teaming up with Lilly Pinchin, winning three of his last four including a 20-length demolition job at Plumpton last time. Matt Sheppard's 10-year-old escapes without a penalty for that win in a conditional jockeys' race so could prove extremely well treated for this. Dawson City has stamina in abundance and could be a player, while Limited Reserve won a Grade 3 over timber when tried over 2m7f and could be better back up in trip. Nearly Perfect made it back-to-back wins when winning here on Boxing Day and is interesting despite an 8lb rise, while Another Venture is up 5lb for making all at Ludlow latest.
