HUGOS OTHER HORSE didn't have the smoothest journey when second on his handicap debut at Taunton last week and could go one better here off the same mark at a venue his handler Paul Nicholls often excels at. Tango Boy ran with real credit in a competitive Cheltenham handicap last time and is of serious interest off an untouched figure, while Striking A Pose stayed on nicely for third at Ascot last time and could appreciate the step up in trip on his handicap bow, with the Colin Tizzard team in much better form now. Mille Sussurri relished heavy ground when scoring at Newton Abbot in October and is another who could play a part if handling this much sounder surface.

Back in a handicap against lesser rivals, he is surely well treated off 127 and is relatively unexposed over this sort of trip. The yard won this with the smart Copperhead 12 months ago so it might be worth keeping an eye on the Sedgefield winner Carrick Roads too. It isn't easy to win a bumper under a penalty, but I LIKE TO MOVE IT looked above-average when bolting up at Aintree last month and Jordan Nailor's 5lb claim will certainly help in the saddle. As long as Paul Nicholls' Mondora isn't a superstar you would expect Nigel Twiston-Davies' inmate to remain unbeaten. The Nicholls filly must be respected, but she's sporting a hood and tongue-tie on debut which has to be a slight concern. Sweet Nightingale rates best of the rest.
