Little solid form to assess and a speculative chance is taken with GROOMED who has shown very little since going hurdling after enjoying a useful Flat campaign last summer with William Haggas. He is surely better than he's shown to date and can hopefully improve notably here. Around The Clock is a major threat on a promising debut run but was strangely lethargic last time whilst Darwins Theory showed promise on his Leopardstown debut. Suspect Device is an interesting newcomer.

SCOTS GAELIC has had his fair share of chances and remains vulnerable to an improver but retains his form well and was beaten less than three lengths by Primroseandblue at Clonmel earlier this month. That level will certainly see him in the shake-up once again. Walter De La Mare must be seen as the prime danger if ready to roll after showing up very well on his return to action last October. He finished in mid-division in last year's Triumph Hurdle, whilst Coral Creek and Candeeiro are also respected.
Very few make any appeal in this maiden and it could rest between the pair that have to give weight all round, with Scots Gaelic preferred to Walter de la Mare. McTaggart had the selection behind him last time and can take third again.

Echo Bob is splendidly consistent and merits top weight on his overall profile but has only the one career success to his name and may struggle to concede weight all round. SUN FISHER is taken to gain a first hurdling success as he's quite lightly-raced and arrives a much fresher horse than most, last seen at the turn of the year when a fair fourth at Tramore. King Malik, Isobella Blue and Starling Lady have all shown enough to get involved in an open heat.
Sun Fisher should be much more at home on this ground and looks to have been let in lightly from his current mark. The consistent Echo Bob has to be respected, whilst any money for Regal Warrior would be significant.

PASS THE HAT was rather below par on previous evidence when still not disgraced in finishing fifth at Fairyhouse last time in a decent handicap hurdle.Twice a winner previously and dropped 1lb here, he has plenty of room for improvement after just the four hurdle runs and it will be disappointing if he doesn't go close. Oconnells Pike has to be on the shortlist after a really doughty effort to land a competitive Navan hurdle latest, with Whodoyouthink and Head Waiter also respected.
See U Bob so often comes into his own around this time of year and looks to have been found a very winnable opportunity back over hurdles. Head Waiter and Pass The Book can give him most to do.

Fourth Class is an interesting opponent in receipt of over a stone and looked as if he had more to offer when showing a good attitude to score at Thurles last time. This looks very open on paper and, as is often the case in such contests, the market should speak volumes. A hopeful choice is PARRAMATTA who looks the type to improve considerably for her Leopardstown debut behind Jezki. Kymin's Way is the one to beat on the form of a satisfactory Thurles debut and it will be interesting to see if the Stowaway mare can repeat that level here. Silver Comet and Good As Gold are others to consider on the back of good efforts behind Kate's Benefit at Fairyhouse.
Parramatta caught the eye behind Jeski in a bumper on her debut and is expected to improve sufficiently to win what is an ordinary mares event. Kymin's Way and Behrama look the best of the rest.
