MICKS JET proved her 66/1 success in a Cheltenham bumper was no fluke when putting a disappointing comeback behind by her by making the frame in a Listed NH Flat race back at Prestbury Park. She is bred to excel over obstacles and is preferred to Lady In The Park, who was pipped for second by Sweet Honey B at Aintree prior to again taking third at Uttoxeter. Sweet Honey B didn't quite perform to that level at Lingfield subsequently, while Dontyawantme is worth a look.
DONTYAWANTME made a promising start in this sphere for her new yard when fourth over C&D so this fairly useful bumper scorer looks the way to go. Lucinda Russell's Lady In The Park also has better days ahead of her and rates the main danger, although hurdling newcomers Micks Jet and Missy Ava could have a say too, especially if the market vibes are positive.

TOM CODY gained compensation for a narrow Newcastle defeat when returning there to land the odds in first-time cheekpieces. He probably didn't beat much but has plenty of scope for improvement and can go in again. The four-year-old Aristobulus isn't exactly bred for fences, but jumped well enough to make all over hurdles at Southwell and his weight-for-age allowance might come in handy. Kalpaga took a step back in the right direction at Ludlow and she completes the shortlist.
KALPAGA turned in much her best effort over fences when fourth at Ludlow last time and with that form working out well she looks very much the way to go. Recent Newcastle scorer Tom Cody rates the obvious threat to Tim Vaughan's mare, although fencing newcomers Ffree Pedro and Aristobulus also need factoring in, especially if the market vibes are positive.

COUP DE COEUR opened his account with a comfortable success at Sedgefield in late-November and his current rating of 108 may underestimate his ability. Although Royal Rhythm was somewhat disappointing when only fifth at Warwick last month, it's too soon to be writing the seven-year-old off and he should prove more competitive on this occasion. V Twelve and Beat Box are unlikely to be far away either.
COUP DE COEUR has been heading back in the right direction on his last 2 starts, opening his account at Sedgefield on his latest outing, so he is taken to follow up on his first run in a British handicap. The main danger could be Royal Rhythm, who is worth another chance to build on his stable debut success in October, with Beaumesnil completing the shortlist.
