Franck Leblanc appears to have the key to this race with ICAMORA DE HOUELLE (10) who won superbly over course and distance - under harness - earlier in the month and, given her aptitude for the monte code, looks set to double her money. That being said, stablemate IQUITA VILI (11) finished a valiant 3rd under these conditions last time out and is also in with a realistic shout. Twice a winner under the saddle here, including over 2700m, ISIS DE PARADIS (13) finished a place behind her that day and, unshod behind as she was when winning at Chartres, Guillaume Martin will be hopeful of turning the tables. Excellent in the monte code this autumn, ISIS WILD (8) showed improvement last time out and can again make the frame.

An absolute dynamo in the monte code, HORIZON CARISAIE (7) put on quite the show to prevail over 2175m here on his first ridden start of the meeting and, in similar form, can make it two in a row. Benjamin Rochard would still be wise to be wary of the tricky, but barefoot, HUIS CLOS (SWE) (5) who has won the last 3 races in which he was not sanctioned, and Swedish import, ARA (3), who taken particularly well to his new vocation. Another nordic monte revelation, ZLATAN KNICK (6) sprang quite the surprise here last weekend and looks a serious player once more.

JOCONDE SIBEY (11) had her measure the time before though and will be no easy touch. Twice a winner at this level during the summer, JUNE (12) produced an encouraging run here 3 weeks ago and will be more competitive in this category. JAMAICA BROWN (2) gave a good account of herself earlier in the month and has earned the right to compete at this level.
