GOLIATH DE LAIR (8) takes a step back up in category after 2 solid claiming runs and will not be wide of the mark.

LAPIS LAZULI (2) beat him at Alencon that day, could well have won here last Tuesday had he not faulted, and JMB will be out to put matters straight. LUCIFERMORNINGSTAR (6) is quite clearly close to his race and switching tracks may be just the ticket.

Tony Le Beller will be legitimately wary of the tricky but well-conditioned JOYCE (13) who took no time getting back in shape following the break. JARIDA GEMA (11) is fearless when barefoot and recent form bodes well for her prospects here. Sanctioned in both return runs after having won here in September, it is only a matter of time before JUNE (7) comes good again.

Highly-talented, but with a temperament to match, KAPAULA DE L'EPINE (7) landed the Gr.2 Prix Louis Tillaye a month back and, while unlikely to repeat, can still make the frame. KIRCIE DE GUEZ (3) has been something of a revelation since switching codes and, although in very good company this time should still hold her own.
