Verdict

SLENDER SILHOUETTE showed good pace but lacked extra over 1200m last time. She is back over 1000m and can make amends. PRINCESS OF ALL ran below par last time but was a decent second on debut finishing ahead of QUEENSLAND who had shown potential prior. The latter had excuses in her last two and could suddenly bounce back to best. OLD FASHIONED has run some decent races and needs to be respected. She has drawn toward the outside of the track. SECOND TO NUNN and MY DEAR FRIEND have earning potential too.

Verdict

EMERALD FORGE is back after a layoff. She has been costly but is consistent and having matured may be ready to fulfil her potential. MASTER'S LADY finished behind EMERALD FORGE a few runs back and she has done little wrong since. She was beaten a neck after a rest last time and could take it to the wire again. GASLIGHT DANCER showed good pace in her runs before a break. She has a prior engagement which must be watched. DONDOYAKI disappointed last time but could pop up on best form. There are well bred newcomers in it, follow the betting closely.

Verdict

WAYNE is a very well bred sort and must make good improvement after a fair learning experience on debut. He should relish the distance and more in time to come. BATTLE OFTHE BULGE may have had problems but ran on well to be beaten in a close finish last time. He should be right there with a repeat. AMANDLA NGAWETHU and SERGEANT SOQRAT have both shown good pace at times and if the track is running fast could be the ones to reel in. The latter is going a bit further this time. Watch out for well bred first-timer GO JOHNNY GO who cost R2M.

ARLINGTON ACTION ran out an easy winner last time and is in good form. He looks well placed and could follow up. SKY PILLAR ROCK stayed on strongly over 2000m in his last start and could be looking for the extra. He is holding form well. CHABAL enjoyed a drop in class and won well. Verdict

Lower division race where anything can happen. LONELY AS A CLOUD wasn't far off stronger last time and should enjoy dropping in class. NKANDLA GOLD is weighted to give him and especially IN THE ETHER a hard time but he needs to find his best form. TIGER STORM has been battling but he too meets a weak field and could show up well. MICHAEL FARADAY won a nice race two starts back and looks better than his last race over 1450m. He takes a further drop in distance but blinkers could do the trick. Maiden LADY LIMONCELLO ran a fair race last time, she can earn.

Verdict

Another competitive handicap. DRIVELIKEAMASTER showed good pace in his second run after a rest and should be at his peak and ready to give of his best. PALACE REVOLT has been thereabouts recently but earlier turned in a few decent performances. He looks a big threat at the weights. ANTONIO GAUDI finished second last time and did have some hard-luck stories then. TURBO POWER ran well in his first run after a rest. He is back over his best distance and could test this field. Most have claims. FALCON STRIKE is capable of better but will need to improve on his latest form.

Verdict

PRESLEY ran on really well to take the second cheque in what was a tough race last time. He carries top weight but could nevertheless be up to the task. DYLAN'S CHAMP showed good resolve to win over 1600m last time. He is in good form and may not mind the drop to 1400m. DECEPTION PASS has a few lengths to find on DYLAN'S CHAMP but his last run was decent and must be respected. ZANTHAR has dropped in merit ratings and now has a 2.5kg apprentice claim and could be the dark horse. JORDAN could benefit from a decent pace. JURY'S OUT is another that can take it.
