DOUGLAS DC is consistent and runs without any penalty. He was beaten two lengths by today's rival Razdan at Dundalk in February but has proven himself over hurdles subsequently and is suited by trip and a sound surface. Razdan had been frustrating prior to that and while he ran well when third on his only hurdles run last September, needs to jump better. Igraine was useful on the Flat, ran well in first-time blinkers when beaten a nose at Cork last month although might bump into one or two too strong. Vocito is experienced and ran well in a handicap when last seen in January but also carries a winners' penalty. Lorca was bought for 22,000gns last July having shown nice Flat form for Andrew Balding.

RAAMEZ is the pick with not much between him and higher-rated hurdler Dare To Flare on two previous flat meetings. RAAMEZ was well held on his most recent Dundalk flat handicaps but did win in December and while his jumping left him down on his last two hurdle runs, remains a fraction unexposed over jumps and can improve. Dare To Flare is a five-time flat winner who is in good form. He has bits of useful hurdles form but was well enough held at Clonmel on his latest jumps effort. Freddie Robdal receives weight and while he ran well in a smart maiden at Navan in December, disappointed here in January. Taxi Rank showed improved from when second in an ordinary maiden at Clonmel while Malinas Glory ran reasonably well also at Clonmel last month and has some place claims.

TOM MCGREEVY has suitably good ground for his seasonal reappearance. A 10-race maiden, he nonetheless showed ability last year and can be forgiven his well beaten last run in October, which was on soft ground. Aunty Audrey is a six-time winner, twice over hurdles, and while well held on her most recent handicap hurdles, can progress from her seasonal reappearance at Gowran. I'vedoneitall has yet to do much but showed improvement to finish third, on soft, in an ordinary Clonmel handicap last month and could progress. Beechmount Maisie ran well here in January but was well beaten subsequently.

YABO has plenty in her favour, as a 109-rated chaser receiving 7lb from the geldings. Lightly-raced and useful over hurdles, she has shown a little more over fences in recent times and stepping back up in trip will suit ideally. Indie Belle is a progressive five year old who can continue to improve but makes her chase debut against more experienced rivals. No Thanks was third in last year's renewal on his only chase run and while he gives the mares 7lb, ran well over hurdles last month. Sight Nor Seen is in good form, stays well and while he makes his chase debut, has point-to-point experience. An Droichead Eile should run well on reappearance but might bump into a few too good while chase debutante Steps Match was useful last year and has point-to-point experience. Clonmoyle was well held in a Listed chase on fences debut recently but has hurdles form. Thegoaheadman has a 107 chase rating but might not be able to run to that rating.

GOOD BYE SAM flopped when 2/11 favourite at Thurles last month but had previously shown better and can reverse placings with Along Long Story. A useful maiden hurdler/chaser in France, he was beaten on point-to-point debut in January but ran a fine race to chase home Billaway at Naas in February. The reason for his Thurles defeat was probably ground-related and while he would like an ease, is also 7lb better off with Along Long Story, who beat him 4.75 lengths. Ask D'man was well held in the Naas race but is a four-time point-to-point winner would would also prefer easy ground. Lord Schnitzel is also a four-time points winner and while he also won his hunters chase easily, was pulled up at Cheltenham. Er Dancer is a five-time point-to-point winner and has place claims.
