A moderate contest and the locally-trained MISS DONNA might be good enough to score under her experienced amateur rider. She was well held in a bumper last time but her fifth in a maiden hurdle at Wexford was a decent run in the context of this race and that form has been working out reasonably well. Gentle Annie wasn't far behind a subsequent maiden winner when fifth at Ballinrobe and she has claims on that form. Anything that Michael Kenneally rides at present is worth a second look and the in-form 7lb claimer has a chance on Maxicourt, who has run respectably in a couple of bumpers.

On his second run back having been sidelined for nearly two years, ROCK YA BOY YA bolted up at Killarney on Sunday and it's no surprise that Francis Casey brings him out again quickly because he is 6lb well in under a penalty. VENUSIENNE was runner-up in a Listed hurdle at Auteuil on her only start in France and didn't run too badly when a 33/1 chance for the Dawn Run at the Cheltenham festival. Pulled up in a Grade 1 on deep ground when last seen at Fairyhouse in April, the daughter of Authorized takes a huge drop in class here and is fitted with a hood for the first time. WARTIME LEADER left Willie Mullins after a disappointing display at Kilbeggan last month. However, his two previous runs still set the standard here. The Churchill gelding split two smart performers when second at Naas last January, before he had a couple of subsequent bumper winners behind when third at the Galway festival in July. The market will be interesting with a tongue-tie added on his debut for Denis Hogan. Mullins is represented by Boo Radley, who is surely better than he showed on debut when favourite at Roscommon. Barra Rua has run solid races on all three starts but needs to improve.
