Prince Mahler and MR CAFFREY were first and third respectively at Ffos Lass last time but the latter could reverse the form of that four-and-a-half-length defeat now on revised terms with his rival. Baldadash faltered when down the field that day but had looked progressive before that, while John Biscuit is also considered now stepping back up in trip.
ZEPHYR returned with a good effort at Stratford and could finally open his account if building on that. Mr Caffrey and Prince Mahler should be closely matched again following on from their Ffos Las runs.

With Pleasure has been well beaten on his two recent hurdle appearances but this looks to be the right distance for John Flint's four-year-old, having struggled when stepped up in trip on his latest start, and an improved showing would be no surprise. Cabernet D'alene represents a trainer who often does well in this sphere in Nick Williams and there could be more to come, however, preference is for FACTION. The latter makes only his second start for Nigel Hawke, having been far from disgraced at Newton Abbott, and was a handy campaigner on the Flat for Andrew Balding.
CABERNET D'ALENE wasn't disgraced in a C&D handicap when last seen in December and holds strong claims returned to maiden company. Faction didn't look the easiest ride on hurdling debut, but he was a fair Flat performer, and is entitled to come on for that experience.

LINED WITH SILVER made a great start to life in the care of Richard Phillips when improving vastly on his previous showings to finish second here last week and can make a bold bid to go one better now having been untouched by the handicapper for that effort. No No Cardinal has hit the crossbar recently and is entitled to make the frame, while there is potentially more to come from Triggywinkle who tries blinkers now. Spock unseated his jockey early on at Ludlow and is another to consider off the same mark.
