Meebo has plenty of experience on this surface and is entitled to lay down another bold challenge, while there were plenty of positives to glean from Quick Touch's Lingfield debut effort. However, despite being turned over at short odds, CAGOULE shaped really well second on his UK debut at Hamilton earlier this month and given the strength of his French form, it will be disappointing if he isn't able to win races on these shores.

Top Tip: Cagoule (3)
Watch out for: Meebo (6)

Cagoule's French form stands out a mile, but he was turned over at cramped odds on his recent British debut, so is hard to support at a short price back further in trip (bred to stay at least 1m). With that in mind, the once raced Quick Touch is offered instead, with Meebo likely to give her running.

Free Entry sets a stiff standard having finished second in each of her three starts so far but she doesn't appear to be progressing and this surface is a big unknown for her. Another switching surfaces is FIELD GAME but his trainer, Hughie Morrison, invariably knows where he stands with his runners at this venue and his colt made a debut full of promise when finishing fourth to the classy Louie De Palma at Windsor back in June. The experienced Blue Burmese rates best of the rest.

Given Mark Johnston's strong record at this track, the newcomer Copperbelt has to be respected and market confidence behind this 150,000 guinea son of Royal Applause could prove significant. Heho is another boasting a smart pedigree but she has gone backwards since finishing second in a Nottingham maiden back in May and it could be worth chancing the returning NUR JAHAN. David Lanigan's filly shaped with plenty of promise last year, most significantly when finishing second at Doncaster, and it is interesting to see connections persevere with this one.

WINDSHIELD couldn't quite hold on after setting sail for home early at Redcar but is fancied to continue her progression off a 3lb higher mark here. Any Given Day looks the biggest danger to the selection as he earned a confidence-boosting success over hurdles at Cartmel and a Flat rating of 85 looks attractive considering his mark of 142 over timber. Cousin Khee had an official figure of 82 at the turn of the year and hinted that he was hitting form when touched off at Wolverhampton recently.

The five-year-old has one win from two starts on a synthetic surface and struck with any amount in hand off 7lb lower last time. Pretty Bubbles heads the list of dangers given she's a fairly consistent performer, while Chellalla arrives buoyed by her Lingfield success on Saturday and is another expected to go close.
