Flying Applause will prove popular under a 6lb penalty as he bids to add to his recent 6f Wolverhampton success but he has never been at his best on the fibresand surface and IT'S A MANS WORLD looks a more solid option. The 5-y-o was winner over this C&D in November and has run well enough in defeat since to suggest his turn might not be too far away. The returning Exceedingly Good is capable performer around here but she has yet to race over this far.
With doubts over the surface surrounding last week's polytrack winner Flying Applause it may be best to look elsewhere, with It's A Mans World, Bold Diva and Exceedingly Good all preferred ahead of him.

Bookiesindex Boy never had to come off the bridle when beating the reopposoning Where's Reiley over this C&D but that is his way and he's not guaranteed to back that up. La Capriosa was behind both on that occasion, finishing fourth, and her good record at this venue affords her maximum respect but a chance is taken on NOLLAIG SHONA from the foot of the weights. The 4-y-o hinted at a return to her best form when chasing home the in-form Six Wives over C&D at the end of January and she can go one better today racing from the same mark.
Bookiesindexboy and Sleepy Blue Ocean both make plenty of appeal, but in a race featuring numerous front runners Where's Reiley may be able to pounce late.

LA ESTRELLA has been really well campaigned since returning from a near two-year absence in February, recording three comfortable successes, and he looks to have been handed another gilt edged opportunity today. His latest victory came over this C&D and he should have little trouble seeing off the challenge of Hindu Kush, who was disappointing at Kempton last time. Mojeerr rates the pick of the remainder with solid previous course form under his belt.
A seventh course success for La Estrella looks very much on the cards, with Hindu Kush best of the remainder.

Little in the way of quality here but a solid case can be made for KIPCHAK, who was a good second to the thriving Stanley Rigby in a C&D handicap two weeks ago and is really well treated at these weights. Yossi can usually be relied upon to run his race but he doesn't find winning easy while Hawaass doesn't look anything like the force of old.
Kipchak was unlucky to bump into a thriving rival in a C&D handicap last month and will be a tough nut to crack back at this level. Yossi and Davana make plenty of appeal for placepotting purposes.

IRISH JUGGER showed a liking for the surface when scoring on his first visit here over C&D last month and, despite a 3lb rise in the handicap, he could take some stopping in his bid to follow up. Eton Fable will arrive full of confidence after his victory in selling company at this track latest and warrants respect, while Sir Haydn only has a length to make up with Colin Teague's gelding on that form.
Sir Haydn and Eton Fable come here on the back of good efforts in sellers/claimers, but Irish Jugger is unexposed on the surface and could be up to following up last month's win.

ACCAMELIA can make it two from two on the fibresand surface. She produced a career best performance when striking on her latest outing over C&D in November last year (second and third horses have clocked up five wins between them since) and a 4lb rise in the handicap looks fairly lenient. Premier League has been knocking on the door recently and should go close once again while veteran performer Beckermet has been running into a bit of form of late.
C&D winner Accamelia has less miles on the clock than most here and could be worth chancing on her reappearance. Premier League may well get involved despite a recent rise in the weights, while Muqalad could also figure if responding well to a visor.

It could pay to side with JONNIE SKULL in what looks a tricky 'getting out stakes'. Phil McEntee's charge has won off a 10lb higher mark in the past and made good late headway to take third spot over 6f here last Thursday.
