JONNY EAGER was an extremely impressive winner at Carlisle in February and was beaten less than a length over 4m at Hexham the following month. The son of Craigsteel is more than capable of throwing in a poor effort but on his best form he should be able to defy top weight. Bennys Well is only 3lb higher than when winning at Market Rasen a few weeks ago, while Notonebuttwo looks to be the pick of the remainder.
JONNY EAGER doesn't have many miles on the clock and can resume winning ways. Notonebuttwo would have gone close again at Newcastle last time but for blowing the last, while Market Rasen winner Bennys Well can't be overlooked up just 3 lb for that success.

This looks a penalty kick for MARDALE who, despite giving 7lb away to the field, boasts by far and away the best form, including a Listed placing at Haydock back in November behind Welsh Shadow. Nicky Richards has found an easy opportunity with her over a stone clear of her rivals on official ratings. Mo Chailin can improve for the step back in distance and for James Cowley's 5lb claim, while Theatre Act looks best of the rest.
MARDALE got firmly back on track at Haydock last month and can land a second success over hurdles. Mo Chailin and Theatre Act both have to bounce back from disappointing runs but are the only conceivable dangers.

Marginal preference, however, is for the match-fit SAKHEE'S CITY, who was narrowly denied in a 2m handicap at Uttoxeter last time and is expected to improve now granted this stiffer test. An impressive seven-length winner that day, the son of Beneficial will be buoyed by that first career win and another bold showing beckons. Kenny Johnson's Captain Sharpe has since ran another creditable race in defeat over further at this track and is the one that is feared most.
DUHALLOWCOUNTRY beat both Discoverie and Captain Sharpe last time and arrives here at the top of his game, so he's taken to confirm that form.

All of the five runners have some sort of chance, but handicap debutant MY LITTLE CRACKER is the one to beat. She has impressively notched up a novice hurdle double at Hexham and Southwell and potentially looks a fair bit better than this mark of 120. Card Game struggled in a competitive handicap at Haydock last time but she can fare much better in this lesser event, while Samedi Soir is taken to reverse form with Beyondtemptation.
All 5 have something to recommend them, but the bare form of MY LITTLE CRACKER's novice wins don't do her justice, so she could well be up to the task now handicapping. Card Game was undoubtedly disappointing last time, but is well weighted if back on her game, while Beyondtemptation is clearly on a roll at present.

It has been a while since a few of these got off the mark and a golden opportunity awaits for ATTIMO. The seven-year-old ran well in a narrow defeat to the in-form Runswick Relax last time and there looks to be nothing of that class here. King of the Dark looks best of the remainder but needs more with Court Of Law failing to fire here last time.
COURT OF LAW took a step back in the right direction when fifth over C&D last time and is one to be interested in now having slipped 3 Ib below his last winning mark. Attimo produced his best effort to date here recently and may have more to offer on just his third start for this yard.
