SABBATHICAL was an easy 15-length winner at Leicester last week and a 7lb penalty for that success is unlikely to stop him from taking this contest as well. Another impressive winner when last seen is Bertie Blake and he is an obvious threat to the selection, although the seven-year-old is 12lb higher in the ratings now. Others to note are Go As You Please and Ex S'elance.
SABBATHICAL and Bertie Blake both ran out convincing winners last time and could well fight this out, with preference for the first-named who only has the burden of a penalty and is less exposed than his likely main rival. Go As You Please caught the eye at Warwick recently, so he shouldn't be dismissed, either.

Sedgefield specialist ROXYFET was back to his best when taking advantage of a lenient hurdles mark to score last time and the track-and-trip winner now reverts to the larger obstacles with leading claims once again. He is just 1lb higher than when second here over fences on his penultimate outing and Emma Smith-Chaston's 7lb claim can be of huge assistance. It was Ripstick who got the better of the selection on that occasion and he can be competitive once again off only a 2lb higher rating, while Catterick winner Ouro Branco has to be given plenty of respect.
ROXYFET has been in good form of late, twice runner-up over C&D before taking advantage of lower hurdles mark here 9 days ago under this rider, and he's taken to follow up back over the larger obstacles. Ouro Branco defied a long absence when making a winning chase debut in good style at Catterick and is feared most ahead of Ripstick.

At first glance, ROSTELLO's debut run for Dr Richard Newland, when a beaten favourite over 2m4f here last month, appears a little disappointing. However, he showed plenty of encouraging signs on that occasion and his cause wasn't helped by getting into a duel with the eventual runner-up a long way from home. A drop back in trip should suit and the five-year-old is backed to see off Tim Vaughan's interesting recruit from Ireland Let The Heirs Walk. Quoteline Direct and Catterick runner-up Briardale are others to keep an eye on.
ROSTELLO is proving expensive to follow, but the money for him here last month suggests he's clearly thought capable of better, so he's worth one more chance now back down in trip. Let The Heirs Walk is an obvious danger on his first start for Tim Vaughan having shown fairly useful form in Ireland, while Briardale could also get involved.
