Off the same mark as when finding only one too good over 1m2f here a week ago, Ishikawa must be respected but he didn't shape as though a drop in trip would help so preference is for SILVAS ROMANA. A previous C&D winner, she returned to form when narrowly touched off by a subsequent winner at Haydock off this mark latest and she represents the yard who won this race 12 months ago. Siouxperhero returned to form with a good third at Windsor nine days ago and he makes the shortlist.

BRAE HILL is used to mixing in much better company than this and can make the most of the drop in class. A regular in the big handicaps at around 1m, he arrives on the back of a couple of disappointing efforts but got within a short-head of landing a Lincoln double at Doncaster in March so clearly still retains plenty of ability. Balty Boys won a competitive Epsom handicap off 85 earlier this month and looks most likely to capitalise if the selection fluffs his lines, though Classic Colori is also lowering his sights and is no forlorn hope.
