The progressive ALBE BACK is extremely appealing here for a yard with a 28% strike rate with juveniles at this track in 2015. He was only narrowly beaten at Lingfield last time and the third has boosted that form by winning at York last Sunday. This fairly stiff mile should suit as he is bred to stay well, being a half-brother to Hernandoshideaway and Moscato. Al Hamd and Cliffs Of Dover would both need to improve to beat an on-song Albe Back but their experience means they are his most likely dangers. Of the rest, Scarlet Pimpernel, a half-sister to Group 3-winning juvenile Scarlet Runner, makes the most appeal.

Watch out for: Cliffs Of Dover (4)

ALBE BACK was much improved from debut when just touched off at Lingfield last month, and a repeat of that may well be enough to see him get off the mark here. Cliffs of Dover is best not judged on his latest York effort and is feared ahead of Al Hamd and newcomer Calvinist.

If you can forgive a poor run last time then it looks best to side with IN THE RED here. He was sent off favourite when beaten a long way in fourth at Newbury last month but a repeat of his second a couple of weeks before that would see him very hard to beat today. Dream Of Summer has just under five lengths to find with In The Red on their Newbury form, while Long Island was second in only a moderate maiden at Brighton last time. Centuro is interesting as he represents an extremely powerful jumps yard who have very few juvenile runners.

The hat-trick seeking Premier Currency looks sure to go well again and the form of his latest win was boosted when the second won next time out. However, an 8lb rise, a return to turf and a better quality of race are all negatives for him to overcome. PETER PARK has to put a poor run on soft ground behind him but his previous performances, including when beaten less than a length by subsequent Listed winner Whitman, indicate that a mark of 75 could well be on the lenient side. A drop in class can help Justice Angel, who ran well enough when third in a good race at Newmarket in July.

Flying Empress has run two fairly disappointing races at Listed level recently and as she hasn't really gone on from her debut win at Windsor, she needs the first-time blinkers to help her find some improvement. The unexposed pair of Canford Cliffs fillies in Canford Lilli and SHWAIMSA can improve past their more experienced rival. The selection was impressive when winning on debut a week ago and this extra furlong is certain to suit this well-bred type. Canford Lilli was second in a good maiden on debut and the third has won easily since. She was green that day and the experience should be a massive help, but this step up in trip is not certain to suit on pedigree.

The well-bred SHWAIMSA was impressive despite looking green when hitting the front on debut at Haydock on Friday, and given she is entitled to have derived plenty from that, gets the nod to step forward. Flying Empress is preferred to Canford Lilli to give her most to do.

ROYAL BRAVE mixes between 5f and 6f but he often struggles to see out the extra distance over the longer trip. His record in 5f handicaps reads 2152213, and the only time he's been out of the first three under today's conditions was when he was fifth in a 0-95 at Glorious Goodwood last year. He can still be progressive over 5f and a mark of 79 may well not be the ceiling of his ability. Waseem Faris is seeking a hat-trick of wins but marks in the 80s have always found him out in the past, though he is capable of running into a place. Sunset Sail, who brings decent juvenile form to the table and showed some mild signs of a return to form last time, is also respected.

This is far from the best of races and it looks best to side with those at the top of the weights. HONCHO followed up his narrow success at Yarmouth with another good run at Bath last week and if he turns up today in the same form he could be hard to beat in this weaker race. The other penalised runner Potternello is his main danger following some good runs of late and the places can be rounded out by Wotnot, who is still unexposed and can go well off a lowly mark.

Watch out for: Potternello (2)

HONCHO and Potternello both arrive in good nick and look the pair to focus on, the former narrowly preferred stepping back up in trip. Vincenzo Coccotti may well represent the best each-way value of the remainder.
