REGINA CHRISTINA stayed on powerfully to land a fourth career victory over 6f here last time and, with this longer trip not a concern, she gets the vote to follow up. A big drop in class should help Lakeside Sunset return to form while Scat Away cannot be ruled out either.
HANGRY made a bright start to his racing career when fourth over 5 1/2f at Monmouth and, sure to improve for this step up in trip, he could prove difficult to beat. Benny And Alex has been gelded since his promising introduction and demands respect, as does Saratoga third New York Song.
LANE ALLEN has been in blistering form recently and he is fancied to notch up a fifth career win. Hat-trick seeking pair Frazil and S'maverlous look to be his biggest dangers.
FUTURE SHOW shaped with tons of promise on her debut over this trip at Saratoga and, open to any amount of improvement, she rates the one to beat. Nothingbutthetruth was just a length behind the selection last time so she has to be respected, while Ursula Andress might be worth a market check ahead of her introduction.
There was a lot to like about SHAYNA LADY's debut second over 6f at Saratoga and, providing this extra quarter of a mile doesn't stretch her stamina too far, she can go one better. Tiz Fantastic will almost certainly appreciate this step up from 5 1/2f and rates the biggest threat, ahead of Anthony Dutrow's newcomer Tapless.
A tricky heat might go the way of REACH FOR YIELD, whose form at a higher level recently has been encouraging. Downgoesfrazier and Luv Dakota Skye are just a couple more with claims.
SUPER SHARP won with plenty in hand over 6f at Laurel last month and, entitled to improve for that first start since December, she gets the vote to follow up. Harlans Belle and the dropped-in-class Prize Taker are other respected players.
SUNNYSAMMI has impressively notched up a double at Laurel and she might be able to strike again whilst the iron is hot. Devine Aida must enter calculations dropping down from Grade 2 company while Miss Ella and Sister Sophia make up the shortlist.
RIVER KNIGHT certainly deserves a win having struck the crossbar in each of his three starts so far this year and hopefully tonight will be his night. His biggest dangers appear to be Leatherhead Lurie, fifth behind him latest, and the unexposed Who Is The Giant.
