COUNT OF LIMONADE had to settle for second best when sent off odds-on for a Leopardstown maiden last month but he sets the standard for the others to aim at here and can go one better this evening. Daymooma shaped nicely on her debut at the Curragh and she is entitled to improve for that experience so should be thereabouts. Sierra Red makes plenty of appeal on paper and market confidence behind him would be a big positive.
It's surely a matter of time before Count of Limonade opens his account, but he may have to settle for second best here as Daymooma shaped like a ready-made next-time-out winner when third on her recent debut. Entries in the Phoenix and Moyglare Stud Stakes suggest connections hold her in high regard. Debutant Sierra Red needs a market check.

Caged Lightning shaped encouragingly at Limerick last time and there should be more improvement to come from him so he merits the utmost respect. Hard Yards did not really build on his promising debut effort last time but it would be no surprise to see him fare better here. However, it might be worth siding with David Wachman's smartly-bred newcomer, STREET PARTY. Any market move for him would certainly be worth heeding.
Street Party has to be considered closely on his introduction, particularly if the market vibes are positive, but if Hard Yards reproduces the form of his debut effort he will prove a tough nut to crack. Caged Lightning is the pick of the remainder.

A competitive fillies' handicap and a case can be made for plenty of them. Gowran Park maiden winner Rominintheglomin is interesting on her handicap debut and Gra Geal Mo Chroi comes into this in good heart so must be respected. The hat-trick seeking Balladiene must also be considered along with Rock Of Ciara, who is in terrific form at present, and Snap Alam. However, a tentative verdict goes to CHEVAL ROUGE. She bounced back to form with a solid second at the Curragh last time and is currently 1lb lower than her last winning mark.
Imaginationrunwild can reverse recent placings at the Curragh with Rock On Ciara on these terms, although both Snap Alam and One of Three also look dangerous.

CURL CAT looked a shade unfortunate when third over 1m1f at Ballinrobe last month, but he remains well handicapped and the drop to 7f should not inconvenience too much, so he might be able to gain compensation tonight. Wellmarked has been knocking on the door of late and there is no reason why he should not continue to give a good account. Majestic Pearl and Mrs Batt are others to consider.
Wellmarked and Curl Cat are high on the list following their recent placed efforts, but Mrs Batt hinted that she was working her way back to form at Cork last time and will prove hard to peg back down in trip here. C&D winner Theyturnedmedown is also respected.

TARLA has been off the track since winning a Grade 3 contest on her first start for Willie Mullins back in April 2010 but she appears to have a good opportunity to make a winning return to action here. An Spailpin Fanach showed some promise on debut over 1m at Dundalk in December last year and the step up to 1m2f will suit so he could pose more of a threat than Hilary who does set the standard on recent form.
Tarla's wellbeing has to be taken on trust, but she is by far the most interesting candidate in a maiden that won't take much winning, given the strength of her hurdles form. She represents Ireland's leading jumps yard which has been amongst the winners on the Flat recently. Likely improver An Spailpin Fanach is feared most, ahead of Hilary.

Defining Year finished runner-up to Famous Name in a Group 3 contest at the Curragh last time and that form makes him a leading contender here. Offer and Aaras must also be respected along with the progressive Massiyn but the one to beat could be HANDAZAN. He could barely have been more impressive when winning a Leopardstown last month and there could be more to come. He is certainly well worth a crack at this level.
Offer and Aaraas both boast solid form credentials and should be firmly in the mix. However, it's unlikely that we've seen the best of Massiyn yet and, with this step up in trip likely to be in his favour, he gets the nod.

BEACH OF FALESA's two Group 3 entries in the next month look somewhat optimistic at this stage but she is evidently thought capable of better than her opening handicap mark of 69. Her stablemate, Noah Webster, is also of interest off his basement mark. Top Man Michael got off the mark in a Navan claimer last month and he is respected back in handicap company this evening along with Positive Vibes who shaped much better when runner-up at Limerick last time.
Beach of Falesa will probably be popular on his handicap bow, but he won't find it easy to lump top-weight to victory. The one that appeals most is Positive Vibes who showed improved form off a similar mark last time when ridden by an inexperienced apprentice. With Fran Berry doing the steering this time, he can come out on top. Dayrina and Top Man Michael can fill the places.
