She failed to see out 1m4f at Windsor last month but had previously gone close over this trip at Newcastle and the dip in class is certainly a plus. Janet's Pearl is arguably more likely to run her race but she hasn't reached last year's form in two outings so far this term. Bright Applause completes the shortlist.

VAN DER ART was beaten over 10l on her 5f debut at Lingfield but that doesn't tell the whole story. Sent off a well-backed favourite, Alan Jarvis's filly was slowly away and ran green before finishing her race quite nicely under a considerate ride. Likely to be far more polished, she is expected to appreciate the longer trip and the booking of champion Paul Hanagan is another obvious plus. Imelda Mayhem is heading the right way and should continue to progress, while Alice Rose and Delia Mary both found only one too good at the first time of asking at Leicester and Pontefract respectively.
Nothing with outstanding claims in this maiden. Imelda Mayhem is just preferred to Alice Rose, while a good run from the newcomer Moment In The Sun would come as no surprise.

SHE'S GOT THE LUCK showed promise over 1m2f and appeared to handle the step up to this trip well enough when third in a Pontefract maiden. She makes her handicap debut off what looks a feasible mark and is marginally preferred to Lady Amakhala, who landed a C&D handicap last month but has another 6lb to contend with for her troubles. Dragonera and King Of The Celts have a bit more to find but that's hardly out of the question.
Lady Amakhala created a good impression over C&D last time and is taken to see off Newmarket raider Dragonera. King of The Celts should also give it his usual good shot.

INDIAN BALLAD has an admittedly in-and-out profile this season but he was hugely progressive around this time last year and it could be worth banking on him bettering last month's narrow C&D defeat. Elusive Prince scored twice over this C&D before a creditable effort in a red-hot handicap at York and might be worth another chance off this sort of mark. Serena's Pride and Defence Council are other leading players in a decent little sprint.
Elusive Prince remains a sprinter with a bright future despite a blip at York last time and he can get back on the winning trail back at a venue where he's already scored twice. Indian Ballad and El Viento also have track form and can fill the minor berths.

PETSAS PLEASURE is in excellent form and he remains weighted to win more races, despite a 2lb rise for his Redcar second over 1m2f last month. Back down in trip and again partnered by Paul Hanagan (who rode him to victory on his penultimate start), Ollie Pears' gelding is fancied to recapture the winning thread. Desert Hunter appeals most of those towards the foot of the handicap, while top-weight Fibs And Flannel cannot be ignored after a close-up fourth at Doncaster.
Fibs And Flannel has been holding his own in stronger company of late and can take advantage of a drop in grade in first-time headgear. Desert Hunter and Wiseman's Diamond look best of the rest.

A market move for Lady Intrigue would have to be taken seriously but SHALLOON has race-fitness on his side and there were plenty of positives to be taken from his debut third at Hamilton. A 160,000-guineas purchase as a yearling, the son of Cape Cross is entitled to build on his introductory effort and could strike at the second time of asking. Kool Shuffle and Lady Intrigue's stablemate Lord Emerson are others to consider closely.
This doesn't look a strong maiden and Shalloon seems to hold sound claims after shaping well enough on his recent debut. Kool Shuffle is about the only other one with some form to his name so has to enter calculations, whilst his stablemate Eagle Rock makes a bit of appeal on paper ahead of his debut.
