The form of CROSSHILL's impressive 11-length course victory over 2m4f last time was handed a timely boost when the second got on the scoresheet recently and hopes are high that Jessica Harrington's imposing five-year-old could have plenty more up his sleeve. The forecast conditions should ensure the drop back in trip isn't a hinderance and he can make a bold bid here. Clonmel winner Power Of Pause appears the pick of Willie Mullins' pair, while Sneaky Getaway made it two victories on the bounce in this sphere when victorious at Fairyhouse and rates as a very talented operator.

FINEST EVERMORE extended her winning run to three and remained unbeaten over hurdles when romping to an emphatic 13-length victory at Listowel in September. Already 8/1 in places for the Mares' Novices' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival, she sets the standard here and those odds could come tumbling down if she obliges this time. Henry De Bromhead won this last year and his Boher Cailin did little wrong when making a winning Rules debut at Clonmel. Global Equity bumped into the well-regarded Gauloise when second on her reappearance at Thurles 10 days ago and placed in good company when at her best last season, while Skyace can't be ignored having lowered the colours of Champion Bumper third Queens Brook in a Down Royal Grade 3 in October.

A fantastic renewal of the feature race as Willie Mullins' Ryanair Chase hero Min bids for a hat-trick of victories in this Grade 1 contest having justified favouritism the past two years. The nine-year-old is a worthy market leader once again, but arguably faces the deepest field he has encountered in this race and may have to give way to his younger stablemate ALLAHO. The free-going six-year-old was last seen fighting out the finish of the RSA Chase at the Cheltenham Festival and with Minella Indo (second), Battleoverdoyen (fourth) and Aye Right (fifth) all doing their bit to frank that form this season, there is plenty to suggest a bold bid from the progressive gelding beckons. Melon and Tornado Flyer complete the Mullins quartet and are foolish to ignore, while Chris's Dream produced a brave effort in defeat when beaten a neck over three miles in the Grade 1 Ladbrokes Champion Chase. Gordon Elliott saddles Battleoverdoyen and Samcro, who finished first and third respectively when they clashed at Down Royal. Both are high-class operators and it would be no surprise to see them involved.

Watch out for: Min (6)

MIN is one of the most reliable top-class chasers around and is taken to win this Grade 1 for the third year in succession. The main threat may come from within his own stable as Allaho rates one destined for Grade 1 success before long after finishing third in the RSA at the Cheltenham Festival on only his third chase start. Chris's Dream may prove best of the remainder in a cracking renewal.
