Connections of Omaha Gold now feel the need to reach for a hood with their filly getting turned over at skinny odds at Musselburgh last time and she could be worth taking on with SCORELINE. The latter left his Beverley debut performance well behind when a length second at Redcar and any further improvement would make him difficult to beat. Shared Equity was an eye-catching fifth on his debut over C&D and can't be ruled out, while the betting market may prove best guide to Amahoro's chances.

Watch out for: Omaha Gold (8)

Omaha Gold showed enough in her first 2 starts to suggest a maiden win should be a formality, while Scoreline should also get his head in front before long. However, the vote goes to Shared Equity who left the impression that he would be all the better for the run when fifth on debut here at the end of July, and the horses that finished in front of him on that occasion have upheld the form since.

Alistair Whillans' four-year-old has gone up 2lb in the ratings following his close-up second at Chester 20 days ago, but he is clearly in good heart at the moment and another bold bid beckons. Frozen Four has definite claims lining up off the same mark as when runner-up over a furlong further at Goodwood, while C&D scorers Hakuna Matata and Fazza are others to note.

The safer option, however, looks to be TAPIS LIBRE. He has impressively won his last four visits to the racecourse, including one over C&D in July, and a 3lb rise for beating subsequent hurdle winner Sky Khan at Epsom latest is generous. An improved filly this year, she was far from disgraced when fifth in a class 2 handicap over 7f at Newmarket last time and dropping in both grade and trip today can only help. From the bottom end of the weights, Jubilant Queen must enter calculations after notching up a second career win at Windsor last month, while Misplaced Fortune bids to win this event for the third year in a row and is certainly no forlorn hope.

Authentication has been knocking on the door and makes plenty of appeal with Tom Queally an eye-catching jockey booking today, while Cape Alex, Madam Lilibet and Embsay Crag are also worth a look.

He was only beaten one and a half lengths on his racecourse debut in a decent-looking maiden here last month (second and fifth have notched up three wins between them since) and stepping up two furlongs in trip today is almost certain to help.
