Only a moderate heat and it could pay to side with SUNSHINE KEN, who has suggested that his time is near with a couple of recent placed efforts. Dropped-in-class pair Cotton Valley and John's Cross also merit consideration.
IMAGE has been in cracking form recently, winning three of her last four starts, and she looks certain to run another huge race. One Thousand Watts and Embraceable Win are also expected to go well.
BLAME THE JOCKEY can be considered an unlucky loser over track and trip last time considering how wide he was forced to mount his challenge and he might be able to notch up a ninth career win tonight. P. A. Thunder and Quepos make up the shortlist.
The return to this grade should see MAGIC HARBOR prove hard to beat and he is fancied to see off El Capitan and Fire Alarm.
SEAGATE made an encouraging start to his career at Aqueduct last month and this beautifully bred son of Distorted Humor should have learnt plenty from that initial experience. Judi's Joy has shaped with more promise in his two starts to date with Economic Data another to consider.
LINDA'S LAST was mightily impressive when winning by a wide margin here last month and he looks worth sticking with. Candy Mine and Giroux make up the shortlist.
This looks a pretty hot race and it represents a tougher assignment for PERFECT LANDING, but the way she ran on over a sharper trip latest suggests she is crying out for a route, and she might surprise a few people here. A host of recent winners line up, though, and it wouldn't be a huge shock if Maybe Tonight has too much class for her rivals. Get'm Up Pronto completes the shortlist.
HOT TRIAL begrudgingly gave way when stepped up to a mile on her first start at this track recently and there should be more to come from her over this kind of trip. Sarah's Big Day disappointed when last sighted but had strung back-to-back victories together prior to that and shouldn't be written off, likewise for Clock Stopper who lowers her sights and remains unexposed.
Perhaps the penny has dropped for IRISH ROSE, who came the closest she has to scoring yet when runner-up last time, and is backed to go one better here. Angel Buzz was well held by the selection on that occasion but encountered plenty of market support and might be worth a check in the betting, while the dropped-in-class Complete Game can get on the premises.
