Temptation's Call is bidding to reach the frame for the third race in a row and may well do so, while Mystical Light could be a force to be reckoned with now dropped in grade, but the tentative vote goes to CHASE FOR THE GOLD, who could provide some value if bouncing back to his best after a no-show latest.
PAY ME PAL improved on his two previous efforts when staying on strongly to finish only half a length off the winner over an extended 5f here three weeks ago, so could be capable of going one better with this extra half a furlong seemingly sure to suit. Border Disorder was almost 3 lengths behind the selection in fourth that day and should be included in combination bets this time around, as should Jungleland.
Golden Volponi and My Pal Happy are unlikely to let PARK IT HERE have it all her own way, but the selection has been plying her trade in much stronger company than this and should have enough to belatedly open her account for the campaign.
Z To K Fever was third over 6f here in this grade earlier this month, one place ahead of High Wager but the latter might be able to reverse the placings over the extra 1/2f here. However, ROMANS GIRL was second in a higher grade over 5 1/2f here last month and has an obvious chance of returning to winning ways back over this trip.
Vata is a consistent performer at this level and should continue to give a good account but this can go to QUEEN OF INDIA who was impressive when winning over an extended mile here earlier this month. Classy Concern drops in class and on her best form she has a big chance.
Affirmation has a clear chance at this level and must be high on the list along with In The Raw who won over 6f here earlier this month. NO ALTERATIONS put up a decent effort last time in this grade despite fluffing the start and she gets a tentative vote in an open affair.
This looks a good opportunity for SPEEDY JUSTIN to record his fourth career success. He was second in a higher grade over 6f here last month and with the step up to this trip to suit he gets the call. Clay County will not go down without a fight and could be next best ahead of Snuckintheforest.
Difficult to oppose SHY BABY who completed a hat-trick when winning over 7f at Aqueduct. Nasreen shaped encouragingly on her return from a lay-off at Meadowlands last month and she rates a danger along with Bourbon Maid who has a frustrating string of seconds to her name despite her game nature.
Power To Excel produced a career-best performance when third over C&D almost three weeks ago and could be thereabouts again, while Tsunami Strikes is respected on his best form but cannot be recommended on more recent efforts. Of most interest is PROPSISTOPS, who has been tiring in the closing stages over longer distances and may now be worth supporting in his bid to shed his maiden tag.
