An open contest but BETTERN BISCUITS won in good style over 6f here last month and the slight step up in trip shouldn't inconvenience her. Lead Time and Classy Concern are closely matched on their recent course running and both should be thereabouts.
ARCTIC QUEEN seeks a hat-trick of track and trip wins and although up in class, she looks sure to mount another bold bid. Untuttable Jet and Oh So Clever are others to include in combination bets.
Suitable Attire is respected on her best efforts but she's vulnerable to less exposed types, namely Chick Right Quick and TATUM CREEK. The vote goes to the latter, who shaped with immense promise on her debut at Belmont in October and is entitled to have developed a lot since then.
See The Forest looks the pick of the Guerrero duo but SILVER PAYDAY makes most appeal. She stepped up on her promising comeback run with a ready win over track and trip in March and there could be more to come on that evidence. Suave Royalty won't be far away if on a going day.
REAL ROOBI relished the step up to a route when emphatically regaining the winning thread last time out and a similar outcome beckons if she's in the same mood tonight. Miss Dartmouth has been knocking on the door but a bigger threat may be posed by Anearful, who found one too good when bidding for a double in a similar contest last month.
Sunday Blitz and Brecciate are highly respected as they drop in grade tonight but the safest option could be INDIAN RESERVATION, who has continued to perform well in defeat since scoring here in January and another bold bid looks assured.
CALIDE VALLEY has much less on his plate than when beaten just over three lengths into fourth at Aqueduct last month and can make his Philadelphia debut a winning one with a repeat performance in this company. Wawaset Park looks the biggest threat following his 7f success here but this is tougher. Crafty Bear completes the shortlist.
CHARGING HERO is the epitome of consistency and has taken a step back up to this level in his stride the last twice. After scoring with something in hand over 6f here last month, this extra yardage is expected to suit and he gets the vote ahead of Sean Avery, who returned from a lengthy absence to score at Gulfstream Park last month and looks capable of progressing further. Spirit Of Cochise completes the shortlist.
Victory Cat is yet to score at this trip and several flat efforts recently suggest it may pay to side with DANCE SAFELY, who has winning form over a route and advertised his well-being when fourth over an inadequate 6f when last sighted. Meow Gibson is also stepped up in trip and is another to consider.
