Good's Secret hasn't shaped too badly in two starts so far and could figure but BETORREGRET made a promising start at Monmouth last month and is preferred. The newcomer Crevette is also respected.
BEBE AND HENRY ran well at Woodbine last time and she looks to have been found a decent opportunity to open her account tonight. In a moderate affair, Hey Monday and class dropper Whiteside are feared most.
Mr. Popps is sure to prove popular on his first start at this track but the value might lie elsewhere, with a chance taken on WICKY JONES. The selection has proved herself most consistent and caught the eye here last time. Cantona is also considered.
The experienced pair of Mocha Bay and Lyle's Angel have the form in the book but both have had their fair share of chances now and WILDHEARTSNEVERDIE, a highly promising second on debut, makes more appeal.
EASTERN ASSASSIN shaped well in similar company last time out and if patiently ridden on this occasion, the three-year-old can continue improving and get serious in this. This Buds For Us and Rescator are the pick of the remainder.
WHISPER TOTHESOUTH looks a tricky ride but now eased in class, the three-year-old filly should have too much for her rivals in what looks a very winnable race on paper. Jackie G is most feared elsewhere and has Certain To Rain held on the form of her latest outing over 7f here.
DISKI DANCE failed to justify short odds-on favouritism when last sighted here over 6f but is worth another look now stepped back up in trip. This will allow jockey Oliver Castillo to get his mount settled into a rhythm but it would be dangerous to completely rule out Seattle Louise and African Knight, who got the better of the selection last time.
PHILLY ACE won impressively over slightly further here latest and he could prove difficult to beat if in the same mood tonight. Uptowncharlybrown ran a fine second in better company at Belmont last month and demands respect with that first start since June sure to have blown any cobwebs away, while Slick Idea makes up the shortlist.
TOO FUNNY left her debut performance well behind when fourth over 5 1/2f here last month and, with further improvement on the cards, she could make it third-time lucky. A repeat of Trip Angel's second over track and trip latest should see her in the mix again, while Crystallo has place claims.
